Yamaha plans capacity expansion at Tamil Nadu ti invest Rs 180 crore
Japanese mobility manufacturer Yamaha's Indian arm, India Yamaha Motor (IYM), plans to expand its two-wheeler production capacity at its factory near Chennai. The firm plans to invest Rs 180 crore in this capacity expansion phase.
It operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities at Surajpur in Uttar Pradesh and Vallam Vadagal near Chennai in Tamil Nadu, producing motorcycles for domestic and export markets.
