3 new bullet train corridors to come up in India
After the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project, 3 new bullet train projects are going to be developed in India. The Ministry of Railways is looking to expand the high-speed rail network of India with new corridors, namely:
- Hyderabad-Chennai route
- Hyderabad-Bengaluru route
- Patna-Siliguri route
The Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for these train corridors will be prepared by March 2027. The projects were announced in the Union Budget this year.
