ASHVINI to float tender worth Rs 28,000 crore for nuclear project in Rajasthan
The subsidiary of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) and a joint venture (JV) of NPCIL and NTPC Limited, Anushakti Vidhyut Nigam Limited (ASHVINI), is set to float a tender worth Rs 28,000 crore.
As per ASHVINI, the tender is for the Nuclear Island Mega EPC Package (NIMEP) for the Mahi Banswara Rajasthan Atomic Power Project (MBRAPP). The Work relates to units 1-4, comprising four 700 MW Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors (PHWRs).
The scope of work covers engineering, manufacturing, supply, civil construction, installation, testing, and commissioning assistance for critical nuclear island systems across the four reactor units.
