Critical Minerals: Indian and Kazakhstan form joint venture for Titanium
India has joined hands with Kazakhstan to form joint venture (JV) named IREUK Titanium Limited. The JV is for producing Titanium Slag in India. This is India's first such venture in Central Asia, and would focus processing low-grade Ilmenite into high-grade titanium feedstock.
The initiative aims to develop the titanium value chain within India and create employment opportunities in Odisha.
