Bullet Train Project: Work on Kim Bridge completed
National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has informed that the work on the Kim River in the Surat district related to the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project (MAHSR), popularly called the Bullet train project, is completed.
The 120-metre-long bridge is located between the Surat and Bharuch Bullet Train stations and consists of three full-span girders of 40 metres each, supported by four circular piers, each 4 metres in diameter. With this completion, 14 out of 21 bridges related to the project are done.
