Raghavpur Multipurpose Project: Environmental Clearance awarded by state EIA
The Raghavpur Multipurpose Project to be set in Dindori, Madhya Pradesh, has received the environmental clearance from State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA). As per the update, the work involves the construction of a dam and a 25 MW powerhouse on the Narmada River, along with a piped irrigation system that will supply water through a pressurized pipeline system for micro-irrigation.
The project would cover an irrigable command area of 17,587 hectares and has been awarded to Afcons Infrastructure.
