Delhi Airport: Automated transit system worth Rs 3,500 crore to link all terminals
The Delhi International Airport Ltd. (DIAL) is planning to link Terminal 1, Terminal 3, Aerocity, and the cargo area through an automated transit system also called the Automated People Mover (APM). Spanning 7. 3 kilometres, the project is estimated to cost Rs 3,500 crore and is targeted for completion by 2030.
According to the Swarajya, the project will feature six stations and cut travel time between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 to just 13 minutes. The project is expected to take around 30 months once work begins. More details on the project are awaited.
