Errupalem-Amaravati-Namburu rail line: South Coast Railway floats final tender for project worth Rs 2,047 crore
The South Coast Railway (SCoR) has given a push to the under-construction Errupalem–Amaravati–Namburu railway line project by floating the final EPC tender. This tender is for the construction of the 28.35-km Vaddamanu-Namburu section at an estimated cost of Rs 599.33 crore. The last date for bid submission is 23rd November, 2026.
The complete project spans 56.5 to 57 km, featuring a 3.2 km railway bridge crossing the Krishna River. It will connect Errupalem (on the Kazipet–Vijayawada section) to Namburu (on the Guntur–Krishna Canal section) via the greenfield capital Amaravati. The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 2,047 crore to Rs 2,245 crore.
