Gargai River dam project: Soma Enterprise bags order worth over Rs 4,380 crores
Construction and engineering firm Soma Enterprise Ltd has bagged an order worth Rs 4,380.54 crores in Maharashtra. The work involves the development of a roller-compacted concrete (RCC) dam along with a conveyance tunnel and allied infrastructure over the river Gargai in Palghar.
The period of completion of work is 4 years or 48 months, and the scope of work covers the construction of the RCC dam, development of a water conveyance tunnel, and execution of associated civil and hydraulic structures required for efficient water management.
