Union Government approves Kalai-II and Kamala hydroelectric projects in Arunachal Pradesh
The Union Cabinet has given its nod to two hydroelectricity projects in Arunachal Pradesh. One of them is the f 1200 MW Kalai-II Hydro Electric Project in Anjaw District that will take an investment of Rs 14105.83 crores. The period of completion of the project is 78 months.
Another one is the 1720 MW Kamala Hydro Electric Project in Kamle, Kra Daadi & Kurung Kumey Districts. This project has an outlay of Rs 26,069.50 crores and a completion period of 96 months.
