J&K ropeway project: RITES invites technical and financial proposals for Rs 250 crore project
Public sector undertaking Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has invited technical and financial proposals from companies or consortiums. The bids are invited for a passenger ropeway between Tarakote and Sanjichhat at Katra, Jammu & Kashmir (J&K), on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis. The value of the project is Rs 250 crore.
The scope of work involves design, engineering, construction, development, finance, operation, and maintenance of the passenger ropeway between Tarakote & Sanjichhat at Katra in J&K. As per RITES contract carries a total of 33 years of concession period including three years of the construction period. A winning entity will be using the two-bid system.
