Larsen & Toubro (L&T) bags order worth around Rs 15,000 crore
Multinational business firm Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business has bagged mega EPC orders from domestic and international markets. One of the orders is from Saudi Arabia for 380 kV transmission and substation segments.
From the UAE, the firm has secured an order to construct 132/11 kV substations along with associated cabling works. In India, it has won an order from a leading private sector developer to set up a transmission system in Visakhapatnam, comprising transmission lines and substations.
According to L&T's classification of orders, the mega orders are valued between Rs 10,000 crore and Rs 15,000 crore.
