Microchip, Nokia, PayPal inks pact worth Rs 900 crore with Tamil Nadu government
Leading firms including Nokia, PayPal, Yield Engineering Systems, Microchip, Infinx, and Applied Materials have signed a pact worth Rs 900 crore with the Tamil Nadu state government. The pact is for projects to be set up in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai.
Agreements were signed during a recent investors' meeting in San Francisco, led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who is on a US tour to attract investment for the state's goal of becoming a USD 1 trillion economy by 2030.
