Bengaluru Suburban rail project: Two firms place bid for tender worth over Rs 170 crore
Karnataka’s Rail Infrastructure Development Company (K-RIDE) has informed that 2 firms have placed bids for the construction of Soladevanahalli Depot of the 149.35 km Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP). KPC Projects Ltd. and URC Construction Pvt. Ltd. are the bidders for the tender worth Rs. 170.93 crore.
The depot will be used to stabilize & maintain trains on 24.866 km Corridor 2 (Mallige Line) which will connect Baiyyappanahalli Terminal – Chikkabanavara via 14 stations. As per the tender, the scope of work involves the construction of a 1 km at-grade section between Chikkabanavara Station and Soladevanahalli Depot.
