Kanoria Chemicals inaugurates new manufacturing facility in Gujarat
Chemical intermediates and specialties major Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Limited (KCI) has inaugurated 2 new plants at its GIDC Ankleshwar site in Gujarat. The firm has launched a Hexamine facility with 18 Metric Tons per Day (MTPD) capacity and a new Formaldehyde plant with a 345 MTPD capacity.
As per the firm, the Hexamine plant utilizes indigenous technology, while the Formaldehyde facility employs Metal Oxide-based technology. These 2 new plants come as the firm aims to meet growing demand in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, rubber, textiles, and agrochemicals, serving both domestic and international markets.
