Coal India floats tender related to solar park in Rajasthan
Coal sector major government-owned firm Coal India Ltd (CIL) has floated an EPC tender inviting bids for the 1 GW solar plant to be developed in Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd’s solar park in Pugal tehsil of Bikaner.
As per the tender, the scope of work involves design, engineering, supply and procurement, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and five-year operation and maintenance of the solar plant. Further, the scope includes the supply of solar PV modules and the system balance. These modules must be sourced only from manufacturers listed under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) as published by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
