Essar Oil to infuse Rs 3,000 crore in Raniganj block
Oil and gas major, Essar Oil and Gas Exploration and Production has plans to invest Rs 3,000 crore on its flagship coal bed methane (CBM) block in Raniganj, West Bengal to raise gas production. This comes as the company aims to boost its contribution to India's gas output from 1% to 5% in five years, exploring untapped portions of its 500 sq km acreage.
