Odisha planning to develop rail-tech manufacturing park
The Odisha government is planning to launch India’s first rail-tech park. According to updates, the proposed park will come up at the Sahaspur industrial estate in Khordha district. It will offer a dedicated ecosystem for manufacturers of railway equipment, components, and specialised engineering products.
Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) has undertaken a preliminary assessment of land-development work, and a detailed project report (DPR) for the park has been prepared.
