Orders Worth Over Rs 1,000 Crore Won By KEC International
Construction engineering company, KEC International has bagged new orders of Rs 1,005 crores across its various businesses. Orders for the supply of towers and poles in the Americas is bagged by the firm's Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business.
Railways business has bagged orders in conventional/ emerging segments in India:
- Overhead electrification (OHE) – Order for overhead electrification (OHE) and associated works.
- Composite – Order for a composite project including track laying, OHE and associated civil works.
- Semi high-speed rail – Order for 2×25 kV overhead electrification (OHE) & associated works for speed up-gradation.
The civil business has bagged the order for construction of Depot cum workshop in the urban infra segment in India. Orders for various types of cables in India and overseas is bagged by cables business.
