PLI Scheme: Government reopens window for white goods
The government of India has announced the re-opening of the window to apply for the PLI scheme for white goods (ACs and LED lights) based on the appetite of the industry to invest more under the scheme. Big names like Tata-owned Voltas, Daikin, Blue Star, and Dixon Technologies are evaluating whether to make fresh applications under the re-opened window.
As per the information, these companies are beneficiaries of the first phase of the PLI scheme.
