Tata Steel and Hindustan Zinc join hands for sustainable manufacturing
Tata Group's flagship firm, Tata Steel, has joined hands with Hindustan Zinc (HZL) to form a partnership. The partnership is for the integration of the low-carbon zinc solution EcoZen into sustainable steel manufacturing.
HZL's EzoZen solution is produced using renewable energy and has a verified carbon footprint of less than 1 tonne of CO? equivalent per tonne of zinc. The two firms are looking forward to a greener industrial setup.
