Uttar Pradesh cabinet approves setting up of new sugar plant in Muzaffarnagar
The cabinet of the Uttar Pradesh government has given its nod to the setting up of a new sugar plant in Morna, Muzaffarnagar. As per The Times of India, the plant will be established at the Ganga Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill.
In phase 1, the facility will have increased crushing capacity from 2500 TCD to 3500 TCD. This would be further expanded to 5,000 TCD.
