Varanasi to Kolkata Expressway: PNC, NKC and GRIL emerge as L One bidder
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has informed that NKC Projects, PNC Infratech & G R Infraprojects have emerged as the lowest bidder (L one bidder) for the civil construction work of 610.417 km Varanasi – Ranchi – Kolkata Expressway‘s packages 1, 2, 3 and 7. The 6-lane greenfield expressway will be built under Bharatmala Pariyojna (BMP) program at an estimated cost of Rs. 28,500 crores.
Scope of work under various packages and the lower bidders are as follows:
Package 1 – UP/Bihar (27 km)
The scope of work involves a Junction with NH-19 and Varanasi Ring Road near Rewasa village to the junction with Chandauli-Cainpur road near Khainti village (Km.0.000 – Km.27.000) at an estimated cost of Rs. 868.91 crore. NKC Projects Pvt. Ltd. placed a bid of Rs 994.03 crore.
Package 2 – Bihar (27 km)
Scope of work involves the junction with Chandauli-Chainpur Road near Khainti village to the junction with Bhabhua-Adhaura road near Palka village (Km.27.000 – Km.54.000) at and estimated cost of Rs. 795.05 crore. PNC Infratech Ltd. placed a bid of Rs 891 crore.
Package 3 – Bihar (36 km)
Scope of work involves the junction with Bhabhua-Adhaura road in Bhairopur village to Konki village (Km.54.000 – Km.90.000) at an estimated cost of Rs. 985.01 crore. PNC Infratech Ltd. placed a bid of Rs 1113.43 crore.
Package 7 – Bihar (33.2 km)
Scope of work involves Anarbansalea village to Sagrampur village (Km. 151.200 to Km. 184.700) at and estimated cost of Rs. 1015.99 crores. G R Infraprojects Ltd. placed a bid of Rs 1248.37 crore.
