Waaree Renewable bags order for solar project in Bikaner
Clean energy firm Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has bagged an EPC order for a 412.5 MWp (335 MW AC) solar project. The project is located at Kawani village of Bikaner district and the subsidiary of Acciona Energy, Juna Renewable Energy is developing the project.
As per the order Waare would supply bifacial solar modules for the project that would be mounted on horizontal single-axis trackers, which are anticipated to optimize energy production by improving light absorption and tracking efficiency. The scope of the work as per the tender includes designing, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. It also includes the installation of a 33/220 kV plant substation, power transformers, and both automatic and semi-automatic module cleaning robots, along with their spare parts.
