Bengaluru Suburban rail project: 4 firms place bid for contract C1A
Karnataka’s Rail Infrastructure Development Company (K-RIDE) has informed that 4 firms have placed bids for construction contract C1A of the 149.35 km Bengaluru Suburban Rail project (BSRP)’s 41.47 km Corridor 1 connecting KSR Bengaluru City – Yelahanka – Devanahalli.
The scope of the work involves construction of its 1st section (named Corridor 1A) between KSR Bengaluru City and Yelahanka. The assigned contractor will build a 14.213 km elevated viaduct with 5 elevated stations, 3.417 km at-grade section with 2 stations, and a rail overbridge (ROB).
Bidders for the work are:
- Apsara Pvt. Ltd.
- Ceigall India Ltd.
- NCC Ltd.
- Shankaranarayana Constructions Pvt. Ltd.
The work is estimated to cost Rs. 1422.60 crore with a deadline of 2.5 years.
