New airport in Bengaluru: State government shortlist locations
The city of Bengaluru is set to get a new airport, as per updates the state govt is expediting plans for Bengaluru's second international airport. As per officials site selection is now in the final phase and a proposal will be sent to the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
Preliminary preparations are on track and the shortlist of the site is now down to three. The govt has asked for a detailed analysis of the pros and cons of these three sites.
