YEIDA plans to develop 5 university townships across Yamuna Expressway
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) plans to develop five university townships along the Yamuna Expressway. Each township will span 500 to 700 acres and will be located near a major industrial corridor.
According to YEIDA, the project is based on three pillars: academic institutions, integration with industry, and shared infrastructure. The townships aim to bring higher education institutions, research centres, skilling facilities, and industrial units into proximity.
