AP Transco to develop power transmission projects worth Rs 5,000 crores in Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh government's body, Amaravati, Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd (APTRANSCO) is undertaking the development of various power transmission projects in the state. The projects are estimated to cost Rs 5,000 crores, and among other works, involve the construction of 400 kV, 220 kV, and 132 kV substations within the stipulated timeframe.
Further, as per The Economic Times, proposals for further projects worth Rs 3,000-crore are also being prepared.
