Ashok Leyland to launch its commercial vehicle in Middle East, African markets
The leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, Ashok Leyland testing its highly popular light commercial vehicle 'Dost' with a left-hand drive (LHD) option. This is being done as it plans to serve the vehicle to the Middle East and African markets.
The company currently retails a range of light commercial vehicles under the 'Dost' brand with a right-hand drive option both in domestic and overseas. In a statement, the firm said, "We are looking at the launch of electric Dost and Bada Dost in the middle of 2023 for the domestic market".
