Kasheli to Mulund Water tunnel project: Afcons Infrastructure emerges lowest bidder for the project
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has declared Afcons Infrastructure as the lowest bidder (L one bidder) to construct a new water conveyance tunnel in Mumbai between Kasheli (Bhiwandi) and Mulund’s Octroi Naka. The tunnel is part of a larger water supply project, with another 14.1 km tunnel approved to connect the Yewai Master Balancing Reservoir to Kasheli (Bhiwandi).
The firm placed a bid of Rs 1899.36 crore. As per the tender, the work involves designing and constructing a Tunnel from Kasheli Bhiwandi to Mulund Octroi Naka.
