Mumbai to Indore new rail line project approved by government
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has given its clearance to a 309-kilometre new line project between Mumbai and Indore. Total cost of the project has been pegged at Rs 18,036 crore and it will be completed by 2028-29. Prime Minister Modi shared the news about the CCEA's project approval via his social media handle.
The project is a result of the PM-Gati Shakti National Master Plan for multi-modal connectivity.
