New forging facility planned by Ramkrishna Forgings in Jamshedpur
Metallurgy sector firm Ramkrishna Forgings has plans to foray into aluminum forging and set up a new facility for it in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur. The firm would invest Rs 57.5 crore to set up the facility, which will primarily cater to the electric vehicle (EV) segment and would have a total installed capacity of 3,000 tonnes per annum.
The facility is expected to be commissioned by the second quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal and is anticipated to generate additional revenue of Rs 175 crore per annum.
