HAL bags order worth Rs 26,000 crore from Ministry of Defence
Aerospace PSU, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has bagged an order worth Rs 26,000 crore from the defense ministry. The order is for the supply of 240 aero-engines (AL-31FP) for Su-30 MKI aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) under the buy (Indian) category.
Delivery of aero-engines would start after one year and be complete over 8 years.
