Order worth Rs 491 crore bagged by Garden Reach Shipbuilders
Leading shipbuilding firm Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) has bagged an order worth Rs 491 crore from the Ministry of Defence DRDO, Kochi. According to the firm, the order is from the Naval Physical & Oceanographic Laboratory, which is under the Ministry of Defence.
The work involves the design, development, construction, integration of equipment, testing, certification, commissioning & supply of one acoustic research ship (ARS). As per contract, the project has to be executed within 36 months.
