ReNew plans to set fresh renewable capacity of 40,000 MW
Clean energy transition firm ReNew has committed fresh investments to set up 40,000 MW of renewable energy generation projects and manufacturing facilities of 6,000 MW capacity for ingot-wafers, cells, and modules. This commitment is part of the Shapath Patra commitments made by the company to the government at the REInvest event in Gandhinagar.
The firm has pledged to expand its renewable energy capacity from 10 GW to 50 GW by 2030, with 10 GW dedicated to storage. ReNew will invest to produce 1 million tonnes of green hydrogen annually powered by 25GW of renewable energy.
