Shree Cement chalks out Rs 2,000 crore CAPEX plan
Cement maker, Shree Cement has chalked out capital expenditure (CAPEX) worth Rs 2,000 crore. The firm signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the state government of Uttar Pradesh during the Global Investors’ Summit last year. Shree Cement aims to produce almost 7 million tonnes of cement annually (MTPA) in Uttar Pradesh over the following 24 months.
One of the projects is a 3.5 MTPA facility in Etah, which is expected to start in the upcoming year. Another one in Prayagraj is under planning with 3.5 MTPA facility and is expected to start production in 24 months.
