St Xavier university plans to develop new medical college in Kolkata
St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, plans to set up a medical college and is willing to seek land from the state government for the project. The university also intends to start a nursing school as the first step toward its expansion into medical education.
As per updates, the university has begun consultations with hospital CEOs and medical administrators. The university had earlier requested 10 acres from the West Bengal state government for infrastructure expansion, but approval is still awaited.
