TAVY Scheme: Uttar Pradesh to build 102 roads in Varanasi and Lucknow
The state government of Uttar Pradesh, under the Tivirik Aarthik Vikas Yojana (TAVYA), has plans to develop 102 new roads in Lucknow and Varanasi. 25 roads will be built in Lucknow and 77 in Varanasi; the action plan for the project has been finalized.
The work will begin only after receiving the necessary environmental clearances and approvals, and the Rural Engineering Department has been appointed as the nodal agency for the project.
