Agra to Gwalior expressway: GR Infraprojects emerges preferred bidder
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has declared GR Infraprojects Ltd. (GRIL) as the preferred bidder for the civil construction of the 88.40 km Agra – Gwalior Expressway. To be executed on Design Build Finance Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) mode, the project has 2 major components:
- Development of a six-lane access-controlled greenfield highway connecting Deori Village on Agra’s Inner Ring Road with Susera Village on Gwalior Bypass
- The second component involves overlaying, strengthening, and executing road safety enhancements on the existing Agra – Gwalior section of National Highway NH-44
The scope of work involves the development of 6-lane of access-controlled Agra-Gwalior GF highway starting from km 0.000 – km 88.400 Deori-Susera in the state of UP-Raj.-MP including the overlay strengthening and improvement works on from 1058.00-1148.00 of NH-44.
