Work on Ghaziabad International Cricket Stadium to begin next year
The much-awaited International Cricket Stadium in Ghaziabad would soon be under its way. Announced in 2015 the project was stalled because of the high-tension power line running across the site, and the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) issue. Now, UPCA (Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association) has agreed to bear the cost of shifting the high-tension line from the site where the stadium will come up.
The FAR issue will also be resolved by December 2022 and the work is likely to begin in January 2023.
