ArcelorMittal to lay foundation for its plant in Andhra Pradesh
Steel sector major ArcelorMittal Nippon has plans to lay the foundation of its integrated steel plant in Rajayyapeta, Anakapalli district, in October 2025. The firm aims to complete the work by the end of 2028.
As per updates, 6,000 acres have been acquired for the project, and pollution clearance is expected by September.
