Order worth Rs 385 crore bagged by SPML Infra
Water solutions provider SPML Infra Limited has bagged an order worth Rs 385 crore under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The order is for a water infrastructure project in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Work under includes the implementation of the Kekri-Sarwar Water Supply Scheme and a 10-year operation and maintenance (O&M) agreement.
Water for the work would be sourced from the Bisalpur Dam. As per the firm, the scope of work involves the construction of a 160 million litres per day (MLD) water treatment plant at Kekri. It also includes two clear water reservoirs with a combined capacity of 37.75 million litres—20 ML at the WTP Kekri campus and 17.75 ML at the intermediate pumping station in Nasirabad. A 58.675-kilometre-long, 1,500 mm diameter mild steel rising main pipeline will be laid from the water treatment plant to the Nasirabad pumping station to create the primary transmission network.
