Reliance Power likely to develop 1,500 MW gas based project abroad
Reliance Group's firm Reliance Power has plans to set up a 1,500-MW gas-based power project overseas. The firm is actively participating in several international tenders for its development. Reliance has participated in the bidding process in Kuwait, UAE, and Malaysia.
It plans to relocate two 750 MW equipment modules from India, potentially realizing Rs 2,000 crore. This move comes after the firm recently secured two mega power projects in Bhutan - a 500-MW solar project and a 770-MW hydropower project.
