Tata Group performs ground breaking ceremony of green steel plant at Port Talbot
Multinational business firm, the Tata Group, performed the groundbreaking ceremony of its green steel project in Port Talbot, United Kingdom (U.K.). This project, costing GBP 1.25 billion, would reduce carbon emissions at the site by 90 percent.
This comes as the firm is transitioning from the blast furnace route to the low-emission electric arc furnace process.
