Investment worth Rs 14,600 crore planned by SKF, to set up a new plant in Pune
Swedish bearing and seal manufacturing company SKF has plans to invest around Rs 14,600 crore in India by 2030. This investment would fuel the enhancement of manufacturing capabilities across key facilities in Haridwar, Pune, and Bangalore.
The firm also plans to construct a new plant in Pune by 2028 to strengthen its competitive edge. Out of Rs 14,600 crore, Rs 8,000–9,500 would be invested in industrial business over the next 5 years. The focus would be on channel expansion to meet growing demand in India.
