GAIL plans investment worth Rs 844 crore for expansion of pipeline capacity
State-owned GAIL (India) Limited has planned an investment worth Rs 844 crore for the expansion of the Dahej-Uran-Dabhol-Panvel natural gas pipeline capacity to meet increased energy demand. The pipeline has a capacity of 19.9 million standard cubic metres per day, which would be expanded to 22.5 mmscmd.
This expansion would be done over 3 years.
