Alexis hospital acquired by Max Healthcare Institute for Rs 412 crore
Leading healthcare firm Max Healthcare Institute has acquired a 99.90 percent stake in Nagpur-based Alexis Multi-Speciality Hospital Pvt Ltd. The deal is done at an enterprise value of Rs 412 crore. Alexis Multi Speciality Hospital, Nagpur has been renamed as Max Super Speciality Hospital.
The acquired hospital provides high-end tertiary care services such as organ transplant, and oncology, including radiation, neurology, cardiology, gastroenterology and diagnostics facilities under one roof. It is acquired as a part of Max Healthcare's strategy to expand in Western and Central India.
