Order worth Rs 102 crore bagged by Group Surya
Solar sector manufacturer and EPC services provider Group Surya has bagged an order worth Rs 102 crore for a Solar-Hydrogen BESS-based microgrid at Chushul, Ladakh. The project is a joint venture between NTPC, the Indian Army, and NTPC REL.
The project aims to provide reliable, clean energy to defense forces stationed in remote areas under extreme conditions. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the project virtually which would generate 200 kW of continuous power year-round.
