Ayodhya to get road project worth Rs 3,600 crore
Uttar Pradesh's Road Transport Highway Ministry has sent a request to the center for special approval to construct a 68 km greenfield bypass in Ayodhya and nearby areas. The project would take an investment of Rs 3,570 crore.
The project aims to address the expected increase in traffic after the inauguration of the Ram temple. As per the updates, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for a 4/6 lane highway that will pass through Lucknow, Basti, and Gonda districts. The Proposed bypass construction will be undertaken through a public-private partnership (PPP) mode.
