Rs 640 crore OMP Square to Kandarpur elevated project to be executed soon
Member of Parliament (MP) from Cuttack Bhartruhari Mahtab informed that the work on the Rs 640 crore worth elevated corridor connecting OMP Square to Kandarpur would begin soon. This project will ease heavy traffic congestion along National Highway 55.
As per the MP, the detailed project report (DPR) of the project is ready and is waiting for the final approval of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, with construction expected to begin in 3 months. The 13 km-long corridor will include service roads, double-lane paved shoulders, flyovers, and grade separators.
